Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is the durability of wooden cards?
Wooden cards have proven to be equally durable as compared to the traditional plastic card, but, unlike plastic, wood is a renewable and biodegradable resource. Besides being a green option in sustainability, they will also impress hotel guests with their aesthetic appeal.
2. What locking systems are compatible?
Our RFID cards are fully compatible with all major locking systems available in the market.
3. What technology can they support?
We offer with both Hico and Loco Magnetic Stripes, along with a comprehensive range of RFID chip technologies that support all common RFID chip types, ensuring compatibility with all major hotel lock and access control systems.
4. What personalization methods are available?
They are available in six (6) different materials and can be printed in Offset, Laser Engraving or Silkscreen (double sided).
5. What is the optimal thickness for these type of cards?
The optimal thickness for wooden cards is 1.20/1.30mm to maintain the integrity of the natural material. For use in energy-saving devices, a thickness of 1.10mm can be accommodated with prior arrangement. A tolerance of +/- 0.1mm is recommended due to wood's natural characteristics. Variations in color may occur even within the same type of wood, influenced by factors like tree age, location, and weather conditions.
